My name is Hanako, thanks so much for stopping by!
I started Made by Hanako (pronounced Ha-naw-ko) years ago on Etsy, where I began by selling digital art prints. Over time, it naturally grew into a space for sharing and selling just about anything I create. As much as I loved Etsy, I found myself wanting a more personal corner of the internet to showcase all my hobbies and the many projects that come with them. So here it is: Madebyhanako.com.

I’m a 28-year-old living in Florida with my husband and our four “children”, they all happen to have four legs and plenty of fur. I’m what you might call a hobby collector—my interests are wide, ranging, and I’m always excited to learn something new.

The hobbies closest to my heart are sewing, crocheting, and painting. Each of which I’ve been doing since before I was eight. Other interests of mine are reading, gardening, baking sourdough, and diving headfirst into a DIY project I’m definitely under-qualified for lol!

When I’m not creating, I’m usually outside—preferably at the beach. I’m lucky to live just minutes from the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and I love everything about it: beach combing for shells, snorkeling, or simply soaking up the sun.
My full-time job is designing and making bikinis for my business, Mizuchi Swimwear. (I wasn’t kidding about being a beach fanatic!)
