Thanks for stopping by! I started Made by Hanako (pronounced Ha-naw-ko) many years ago on Etsy, I started by selling some digital art prints and later have expanded to selling pretty much anything I make. As much as I’ve loved selling on Etsy, I felt like I needed a more personal space online to showcase my various hobbies and all the projects that come with them! So here is it, Madebyhanako.com.

I am a 28 year old woman living in Florida with my husband and 4 “children” (they all have four legs and fur all over). I’m what some people would call a “hobby collector”, my interest are vast and I am always eager to learn a new skill whenever possible.

The ones closest to my heart are sewing, crocheting, and painting. All of which I started out doing before I was 8. When I’m not doing one of those three, you can usually find me reading, gardening, making bread, or tackling some ridiculous DIY that I’m most definitely unqualified for.

Outside of the creation realm, and outside literally lol, I am a huge beach lover. I am lucky enough to live just minutes from the crystal clear waters of the gulf of Mexico. Whether it’s looking for seashells, snorkeling, or just laying out on the sand, I love it all!
